Leading the auction was a 1969 Topps #25 Lew Alcindor signed rookie card, authenticated by JSA, which realized $97,350, setting a new benchmark for Alcindor signed cards. Signed under his birth name prior to becoming Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, authentic period examples are extraordinarily rare, with only a handful known.
