Leica Cameras, Lenses, and Accessories

Leica enthusiasts turned out in force:

• Leica MP Chrome Camera Serial No. 333 soared to $73,750, setting the tone for a strong showing of rare examples from a lifetime Leica collection.
• Leica M3 Black Paint sold for $16,100.
• Leica M3 Double Stroke (first year) brought $11,100.
• Leica M2 Black Self‑Timer reached $9,487.50.
• Leica M4-M achieved $8,337.50.

Accessories also performed well: a Leica Elmarit 28mm Lens sold for $5,900 and a sealed Leica Summilux‑M 50mm Lens brought $3,068.

Collectors also competed for special editions such as the Leica M5 Chrome 50 Year in Box and early models like the Leica IIIc K Grey Camera.

Guitars & Musical Instruments

Vintage guitars drew strong bidding:

• Martin Custom Prototype D‑45 Tree of Life Acoustic achieved $33,600.
• 1956 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop brought $24,190.
• Rickenbacker 381/V69 Fireglo reached $3,720.
• Rickenbacker 360 Mapleglo sold for $2,220.
• Martin J‑65 Acoustic sold for $1,920.

Historical Documents & Archives

Early American and presidential material also captured attention:

• 1667 New York Governor Nicolls Land Grant brought $7,200.
• Archive of 12 signed letters from Helen Keller with photographs realized $5,462.50.
• Important Historical Erwin Rommel Scrapbook sold for $5,605
• James Madison & James Monroe signed ship’s passports achieved $1,770 and $1,534.
• Ulysses S. Grant signed presidential pardon (1872) reached $1,380.
• Charles Dickens handwritten letter (1860) sold for $1,357.

World War II collectors also competed for unique paper ephemera, with a WWII Japanese Internment Broadside reaching $2,360 and an internment camp archive selling for $2,301.

Limited Edition Art & Other Highlights

• Dr. Seuss “Unorthodox Taxidermy” sculptures exceeded expectations, including the Goo-Goo Eyed Tasmanian Wolghast at $4,680, the Turtle Necked Sea Turtle at $3,120, and the Mulberry Street Unicorn  at $3,000.
• Maria Martinez San Ildefonso Pot from the 1930s brought $1,320.
